Associate membership in the USS Block Island Association is open to anyone. Full membership is available to individuals who served in the US Navy or US Marines on any of the following ships or squadrons:

Navy Squadrons VC-6,   VC-25,  VC-55,   VC-58,   VS-22 (Korea),   VS-30 (Korea)

Marine VMTB-233,   Marine VMF 511,   Marine Carrier Service Detachment #1,   Marine Carrier Division 27

USS Ahrens DE 575,   USS Barr DE 576,   USS Buckley DE 51, 

USS E. E. Elmore DE 686,   USS Paine DE 578,   USS Bronstein DE 189 

Many friends, sons, daughters and other relatives have joined the Association as associate members to understand the history and to honor the dedication of the full members who served during WWII and Korea.

Dues are $15 per year payable in January and include the Association newsletter, CHIPS, which is mailed to the member’s address. Your dues also help bring members together for annual reunions and support this website.
